2014 unit cells
Provides Quokka3 settings files reproducing the input parameter sets of a 2015 JPV publication across six cell architectures, from lumped to detailed multiscale modeling.
This example provides Quokka3 settings files for the input parameter sets of a 2015 JPV publication, covering six cell architectures: a conventional cell, PERC, n-PASHA, HJT, ANU-IBC, and UNSW-PERL. The standard settings files define skins by their lumped properties.
Interactive 3D model — rotate, pan, zoom.
The PERC case additionally includes an enhanced model with detailed emitter properties (dopant profile, surface SRH) using the multiscale approach, a busbar-enhanced unit-cell geometry, and light trapping via the “local-lumped” Z approach to account for different internal reflection properties. The PERC and conventional unit-cell examples (PERC_unitcell.m and conventional_unitcell.m) run in the free version.
What this example covers:
- Settings files for six cell architectures (conventional, PERC, n-PASHA, HJT, ANU-IBC, UNSW-PERL)
- Lumped-property skins vs. a detailed multiscale PERC model
- Busbar-enhanced unit cell with “local-lumped” Z light-trapping
